Kingrey, Edenburn garner all-region recognition

INDIANOLA, Iowa – After helping lead Simpson to its highest win total and conference finish since 2008, junior outfielder Trenten Kingrey and senior pitcher Jake Edenburn were selected to a pair of all-region teams.

Kingrey was named third team all-region by the American Baseball Coaches Association, while Edenburn garnered third team recognition from D3baseball.com.

The pair helped guide Simpson to a 24-18 season, the program's highest win total since 2008, while the Storm secured a third-place finish in the American Rivers Conference standings and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament, both the program's highest marks since 2008. Simpson also posted some of its strongest offensive numbers in decades, totaling its most runs and hits since 2009 while recording its highest totals in doubles, home runs, RBIs and total bases since 2004.
