Dunwoody’s complete-game gem nets pitcher of the week honors
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Senior Easton Dunwoody has been named American Rivers Conference Pitcher of the Week after tossing a complete-game victory in Simpson's 10-1 win over Beloit.
Dunwoody allowed just three hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings. He held Beloit to a .136 batting average and posted a 0.71 WHIP, helping the Storm complete a sweep of the Buccaneers on the opening day of their Florida trip.
This is Dunwoody's second career A-R-C Pitcher of the Week honor. He was previously recognized on March 6, 2023.
Simpson continues its spring break trip with a single game against Wis.-River Falls on Wednesday at 8 a.m.
