DAVENPORT, Fla. – A pair of early innings proved costly as the Simpson College baseball team was tripped up 10-3 by Wis.-River Falls on Wednesday.
Wis.-River Falls (4-1) scored six runs in the second and added three more in the third to take control of the game. Simpson (6-5) got on the board in the fifth on an RBI groundout from Tyler Deal before adding two runs in the seventh, highlighted by a solo home run from Bryson Gibson and an RBI double by Kasey Carter.
