No. 16 Eagles pull away from Storm in second half

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Facing one of the nation's top attacks, the Simpson College women's soccer team fell 5-0 on the road to No. 16 Wis.-La Crosse.

Ranked third nationally in scoring offense, the Eagles (7-0) struck just three minutes into the match, but the Storm (3-3-1) kept them in check the rest of the first half to head into the break down only 1-0.

Wis.-La Crosse regained momentum immediately after intermission with a goal less than a minute into the second period, then pulled away with three more tallies to remain unbeaten. The Eagles have outscored their opposition 37-2 in 2025.

Ally Hoffa took five shots to lead the Storm offense.
