INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College women's soccer team dropped its 2025 home opener on Sunday, falling 3-0 to (RV) Carleton at Buxton Stadium.
The Knights (3-0-1) broke through just before halftime on a goal from Claire Burbery, then doubled their lead in the 73rd minute. Carleton added a final tally in the 84th to secure the result.
Carleton controlled much of the match, finishing with a 16-3 advantage in shots and a 9-1 edge in corner kicks. Simpson moved to 2-1-1 on the season with the loss.
