Nine wrestlers reach the podium in Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The Simpson College women's wrestling team had nine individuals finish on the podium at the Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational on Saturday.

Autumn Calvert (180) placed highest with a runner-up finish, while DD Toyomura (117) and Noa Arnold (145) tied for the team lead in wins with four apiece.

Altogether, Simpson tallied 31 wins and 20 pins to finish fourth in team scoring with 83.0 points.
