Calvert picks up A-R-C weekly honor after 2-0 weekend

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Freshman Autumn Calvert has been named the American Rivers Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week after posting a 2-0 record with two pins at the Lindenwood Duals.

Calvert opened her day by pinning No. 6-ranked NAIA wrestler Payton Sholander (Wayland Baptist) in 1:09, then added a second fall with a 2:49 pin over Lindsey Wilson's Cheyenne Cruce.

Calvert improved to 5-1 overall with the two wins. Simpson is next in action this Saturday at the 8 Women Battle hosted by Wis.-Eau Claire.
