Simpson Softball rises two spots to No. 12 in NFCA National Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With three more wins in Florida, Simpson softball climbed two spots to No. 12 in the latest NFCA/GoRout Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
Simpson improved to a perfect 9-0 on the year with recent wins over Western New England, Calvin, and Ithaca to begin the Spring Games in Florida. The Storm are one of 19 teams left undefeated in the DIII country.
Simpson returns to action with a rare tripleheader on Wednesday starting with a game against Chicago where the Storm already lead 5-4 in the fifth inning before weather delayed the game from Sunday. Simpson then faces off against Geneseo and Springfield and will play another five more games before heading back to Indianola.
