Galloway leads Simpson with four wins in Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – Troy Galloway recorded four wins on the day to lead the Simpson College men's wrestling team at the Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational.

After an opening loss to Loras' Hunter Eastin, Galloway rebounded in the consolation bracket with a technical fall and three pins to finish 4-1 at 197 pounds.

Connor Jackson (157) and Nicholas SIlva (133) each added three more wins for the Storm, with Jackson claiming fifth place in the silver division. Silva earned a pair of decisions, while Jackson had a couple of pins.

Simpson takes on No. 5 Loras, Luther, No. 10 Coe, and Nebraska Wesleyan next weekend at the American Rivers Conference Duals in Lincoln, Neb.
