Long, Rounds secure academic all-district honors
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Kaylin Long and Tessa Rounds have both been selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team.
Long achieves the honor for the second straight season, while Rounds picks up the distinction for the first time in her career.
The At-Large program includes student-athletes who participate in sports that do not have their own Academic All-America teams (football, men's & women's soccer, volleyball, men's & women's basketball, men's & women's swimming & diving, baseball, softball, men's & women's tennis, men's & women's cross country/track & field).
In order to be considered for the CSC Academic All-District and All-America Teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better with at least one full year at his or her institution. Golfers must have competed in 70 percent of the team's total varsity events that kept a team score.
