Storm face tough competition at Wartburg Fall Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa - At the second competition of the year, the Simpson women's golf team battled to a 15th place finish in a crowd field at the Wartburg Fall Invite on Sunday.

Addison Brink led the way with a strong second round, shooting an 81, the lowest round of any Storm golfer. Kaylin Long and Tessa Rounds placed second and third on the team scorecard with Joann Martin and Kristen Roe rounding it out.

As a team, the Storm placed 15th overall, highlighted by seven birdies, which was tied for 10th most in the field. Simpson edged out three A-R-C opponents in Buena Vista, Central, and Luther in the standings.
