Simpson leads league with 23 all-academic selections

DANBURY, Conn. – The Simpson College men's gymnastics team led the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) with 23 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team.

For the fourth time in their careers, Alex Catchpole, Christopher Duane, Sterling Pariza, Ethan Sipos, Milo Staley, and Jake Sweeten each earned the distinction.

Jack Campbell, Noah Koos, Cody Midboe, Brian Rollison, Christian Romero, Eric Simon, and Brennan Voss were recognized for the second time, while Garrett Alexander, Alex Campbell, Noah Doiron, Ethan Drake, Lewis Durkin, Braxton Jones, Tzar Lyons, Kenny Rabe, Tristan Shorey, and Oskar Silverman were all first-time honorees.

To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Freshman and first-year student-athletes must have achieved a 3.0 GPA during the fall semester.
