Rollison, Tiedemann advance to NCAA Finals

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Brian Rollison and Paul Tiedemann punched their tickets to the NCAA Championships finals with qualifying performances on still rings and high bar Friday night.

Tiedemann delivered a career-best 13.500 on high bar to earn his place in Saturday's finals, while Rollison advanced on still rings with a score of 13.333. The pair will represent the Storm on day two against the nation's top competitors at 6 p.m.

Six other gymnasts closed out their campaigns on the national stage. Garrett Alexander led the Storm on both floor (12.666) and pommel horse (12.333), while Braxton Jones posted a 12.566 on floor and added a team-best 13.500 on vault. William Bacus contributed an 11.900 on pommel horse in his final routine of the season.

Alex Campbell capped his year with a 12.533 on still rings, while Oskar Silverman added an 11.266 on the event. Noah Doiron competed in the all-around, finishing with a total score of 70.098, highlighted by a 12.900 on vault, a 12.066 on parallel bars, and an 11.500 on high bar.
