Four Storm earn academic all-district honors
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Four members of the Simpson College women's volleyball team were recognized for their excellence on and off the court as Morgan DenBeste, Maddie Dunham, Peyton Mitchell, and Jada Schmidt were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Mitchell earned the honor for the third consecutive year, while DenBeste and Schmidt collected their second Academic All-District selections. Dunham picked up the recognition for the first time in her career.
To qualify, all nominees must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The full team can be viewed by clicking here.
