Simpson captures another school record in final last chance meet
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - For a third time this season, a new record was set in the 4x100 relay as the Storm rewrote the history books with a time of 46.96 seconds highlighting Simpson's day at two last chance meets.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- The 4x100 Relay team consisting of Jenna Thornburg, Emma Cooper, Molly Moore, and Aubrey McDaniel, continued to refine their skill, posting another school record in the event at 46.96 seconds.
- Olivia Merrill once again jumped up the leaderboards in Simpson history, setting the third best mark in the shot put at 13.53m.
- Emma Cooper qualified for the finals of the 100m dash, posting a best time of 12.26 seconds in the prelims before finishing eighth overall.
