Lueck leaps to A-R-C Field Athlete of the Week
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – With a standout performance in the long jump, Emma Lueck was named the A-R-C Field Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Lueck claimed her first A-R-C honors of her collegiate career after placing third overall in the long jump with a best mark of 5.56-meters. The mark also placed Lueck third all-time in program history.
Lueck's 5.56-meter jump sits second best in the Midwest region and tied for 17th-nationally in the Division-III.
Simpson and Lueck return to action this Friday, April 10 in Des Moines for the Jim Duncan relays, along with competing in the UW-Platteville invitational the same day.
