Simpson sets another school record in 4x100 relay at last chance meets
WAVERLY, Iowa - For a third time this season, a new record was set in the 4x100 relay as the Storm rewrote the history books with a time of 47.66 seconds, highlighting Simpson's day at two last chance meets.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- The 4x100 Relay team consisting of Jenna Thornburg, Emma Cooper, Molly Moore, and Chloe Wierson, broke the school record once again in the event, setting a new best time of 47.66 seconds.
- Aubrey McDaniel took home a top of the podium finish in the 100m dash, setting the 10th-fastest time in Simpson history at 12.58 seconds.
- Olivia Merrill claimed the second first-place finish on the day for the Storm, winning the shot put at 13.25m on her fourth throw.
