Storm dominate Gusties in regular season finale

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Simpson College women's gymnastics team closed its regular season with a dominant road performance Friday night, sweeping all four individual event titles and capturing every team rotation in a 190.500-187.600 win over Gustavus Adolphus.

The sweep marks just the second time in program history the Storm have claimed all four individual crowns in a meet. Alexa Denton (bars) and Izzy Brown (beam) won their first career titles, while Emma Charles (vault) and Brooklen Morgan (floor) won their first of the season in their events.

Simpson claimed the top six scores on floor as Bella Dix (9.700), Kaley Bristow (9.675), and Annika Cole (9.675) finished behind Morgan (9.750) to earn a spot on the podium. Olivia Hedary achieved runner-up honors on bars, while Emmie Barton finished third on vault (9.675) and Rachel Welch took third on beam (9.575).
