Storm defeat Pipers to start 2026

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Simpson College women's gymnastics team opened the 2026 season with a convincing 186.600-176.475 win over Hamline, sweeping all four event titles in the season opener.

The Storm were led by multiple individual victories from Kaelyn Tally, who claimed first on floor and tied with Emmie Barton for first on vault. Evalyn Resnick shined with a new career high and individual title on beam, while Liz Sisler stood atop the podium on bars.

Altogether, Simpson claimed nine top-3 medals.
