Perrin finishes as A-R-C Medalist Runner-Up at Conference Championships

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Blake Perrin finished one stroke off the lead, earning Medalist runner-up honors at the A-R-C Championships, hosted at Glen Oaks Country Club on Tuesday.

Perrin's tournament began with a solid one-under par on the front nine and topped out at three-under after 12 holes before finishing day one two-over par. The senior played his best on day two, shooting one-par 70 on the day including four birdies. On the final 18, Perrin rebounded after a slow start, three-over par through six with birdies on eight, nine, and ten and final birdie on 13 to go even-par 71.

Perrin finished with a total score of 214, the second lowest 54-hole tournament score in American Rivers Conference history.

Jackson Tennis began the tournament strong with a five-over par 76 including playing even par golf on the front nine. After recording two bookend birdies, on hole one and 18, Tennis scored one birdie over the final two days to finish second on the team at 241 total.

Avin Legg opened the tournament with an 83 before posting his best round of the tournament on the second day with an 80. Legg closed out the tournament with an 88 to finish third on the team. Bradley Kofoed went 85 and 90 on the opening two rounds before shooting three birdies on the final day to wrap up the action with an 82 and a fourth place mark on the team.

Jack Wahman started the first two rounds for the Storm, shooting 85 and 90 before Taylor Plagge was subbed in to play the final round. Plagge scored for the Storm with an 85 on the final round.

As a team, Simpson finished four strokes behind Loras and 12 behind Coe for a ninth place finish. Over the three days, Simpson carded a total of 20 birdies with Perrin accounting for 11.
