Hot streak continues for Simpson at the Storm Fall Invite
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Just down the road at the Indianola Country Club, the Simpson men's golf team continued playing quality golf, posting a 294 total score to take second overall on Wednesday afternoon.
After making history over the weekend by tying the school record for the lowest round score of 68, Blake Perrin nearly matched his performance. Perrin led the way with a two-under par 69 to place third overall on the leaderboard. Jacob Peterson and Bradley Kofoed went two and three for the Storm with scores of 74 and 75 respectively. Jack Wahman and Jackson Tennis rounded out the card with 76 rounds each.
Representing the Simpson reserve squad, Johnathon Terpstra led the way with a two-over par 73. Avin Legg and Andrew Princehouse finished with 75 rounds and Landon Simpson ended with a 76. The reserve squad took home a third place finish on the team leaderboard, breaking the 300-mark at 299.
