Men's Golf begins 2025 with a top-10 performance from Perrin

FORT DODGE, Iowa - Simpson wasted no time starting the 2025 season off strong, led by Blake Perrin's ninth place finish, the Storm placed seventh overall at the Iowa Central fall kick-off.

Perrin paced the Storm with his four-over par performance for a 75. Perrin recorded his first of three birdies on the 17th hole, and went back-to-back on seven and eight, tying him for eighth in the field in total birdies.

Jackson Tennis followed up with a second place team finish, and 17th overall, with sharp play on the par-fours at just one-over par on the day. Jacob Peterson, Jack Wahman, and Avin Legg rounded out the scorecard for the Storm, as the trio each added one birdie to the team's eight total birdies.
