Storm claim victory, Kofoed with first place finish

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Storm men defended their home course today in their victory at the Storm Spring Invite, crowning the individual champion as well. The men competed against several other teams to bring home the championship, shooting a 297 and edging by Southwestern CC by just two strokes. The Storm also defeated conference opponent Loras in today's competition by over 15 strokes.

Simpson had two other teams in addition to their top-team in today's competition. The Simpson B team took third place with a 311, while the Simpson C team took 9th place over the course of 18 holes.

Individually, the Storm had some impressive finishes. Brad Kofoed took first place in today's meet, shooting a 72 and recording four birdies during his round. Jack Wahman took second place behind his teammate, shooting a 73 with five birdies. Blake Perrin, Avin Legg, and Jackson Tennis (B team) all tied for sixth place, putting five Simpson men in the top-10 of the competition.
