Storm place fifth at Central Shootout

PELLA, Iowa – The Storm men headed to Pella today to compete in the Central Shootout against several other teams. Simpson brought three teams to the meet, with their top team taking 5th place. The Simpson B team took 6th place while the Simpson C team took 9th.

Throughout the course of the day, the Storm defeated conference opponent Loras by three strokes, and they had three golfers that placed in the top-10 individually.

The top performance of the day for the Storm came from Brad Kofoed's impressive 4th place finish, shooting a 78, just three strokes off from first place. Jackson Mears and Blake Perrin also finished in the top-ten, both with 9th place finishes from their 80 stroke performances.
