Cooper and Thornburg headline the Storm at the Liz Wuertz Invite
WAVERLY, Iowa - Emma Cooper and Jenna Thornburg highlighted the Storm's success at the final meet before the conference championships, as Simpson competed at the Liz Wuert invite on Saturday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Emma Cooper took home the highest finish on the day for the Storm, winning the 60m dash with her time of 8.10 seconds.
- Cooper followed up with the ninth fastest time in program history in the 200m, taking sixth overall with a time of 26.94 seconds.
- Jenna Thornburg continued her successful indoor campaign, taking sixth in the 400m with a time of 1:01.00 minutes, which was the 10th fastest time in school history.
