Storm deliver wave of personal best marks at Dutch Holiday Preview

PELLA, Iowa - The Storm continued to build on their success from the first meet of the season, etching their names higher in the school records at the Dutch Holiday Preview meet on Friday.

Aaliyah Johnson was one of five athletes to set personal records on the day, including her outstanding performance in the triple jump. Johnson won the event with a best of 10.58m, which was only the third Storm ever to break the 10.5 mark. Joining her in school history was Nicole Middents in the 300m with her time of 45.53 seconds.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• Aaliyah Johnson took home first place in the triple jump and her mark was the third best in program history.
• Nicole Middents' third place finish in the 300m with a time of 45.53 seconds earned her 10th best in school history.
• Isabelle Noring, and Emma Lueck earned first and second in the long jump.
• Maddie Hays finished on the podium in the 200m with her time of 26.38 seconds.
