Both track and field programs, six individuals named USTFCCCA All-Academic

NEW ORLEANS - Both the Storm men's and women's track and field programs, along with six individuals were recognized by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic selections.

Overall as a team, both the men's and women's program were honored for their work in the classrooms with the women posting a 3.549 team GPA and the men at 3.307 GPA. Each program had three individuals selected as well as All-Academic. Representing the men's side was Kendrick Achebe, Clarke Latcham, and Joseph Sams, and for the women, Maddie Hays, Aaliyah Johnson, and Olivia Merrill were named to the award list.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards: competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 35 in a relay event on the official NCAA descending order list.
