Ridenour captures match win as Storm fall to St. Ambrose

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Ava Ridenour captured a match win as Simpson faced off against St. Ambrose on Sunday afternoon.

Ridenhour, playing in the two slot, rallied back after dropping the first set 6-2 with a 6-3 second set to force a tiebreaker. In the deciding set, Ridenhour won in dramatic fashion, winning 12-10 to claim Simpson's lone point on the day.

Grace Peck scored four game wins in the opening set while Gracie Thompson earned four game wins over two sets. Peck and Natalie Collins represented Simpson as the top doubles pair, grabbing three game wins before falling.
