Women's Tennis tested in Minnesota doubleheader

OWATONNA, Minn. - Taking on both St. Scholastica and Northwestern in a doubleheader, Simpson women's tennis fell 7-0 and 5-2 respectively to conclude its Minnesota road trip.

Bella Sims earned a match victory in her contest against Northwestern's Hannah Hyttsten 6-4, 6-1. Jay Johnson was also awarded a win by default as the six seed for Simpson. Grace Peck went back-and-forth in her match up against Northwestern's top seed before ultimately falling 6-4, 7-5.

Gracie Thompson and Natalie Collins combined for 14 game wins on the day, highlighted by Thompson's four in the second set against Northwestern.
