Tennis falls against Edgewood, Cornell

MADISON, Wis. – The Simpson College men's tennis team opened up its spring season today traveling to Madison to compete against Edgewood and Cornell College. The Storm dropped both matches, falling against Edgewood 4-3 and against Cornell 7-0.

In their match against Edgewood, Javier Robles Solis, Grant Love, and Seth Orta got victories for the Storm in singles competition. In doubles competition, Javier Robles Solis and Grant Love picked up a victory for the Storm.

In the match against Cornell, the Storm came away without victory, but in doubles competition Seth Orta and Coleman Condon came close to victory when they pushed Cornell's doubles squad to extra points.
