Storm battle with Loras; win 200 free relay

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Simpson secured a first-place finish in the men's 200-yard freestyle relay and consistently placed in the top three across multiple events against Loras on Saturday afternoon.

Colby Briggs delivered strong performances, securing second place in the 200-yard individual medley at 2:08.02, the third fastest time in program history and the 500-yard freestyle.

Chance Penrod achieved a runner-up finish in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking in at 12:05.13, and also contributed to the second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Ky Frederick excelled in the 100-yard freestyle and played a key role in the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay team.
