Storm women take fourth at Central Dutch Invitational

PELLA, Iowa - Jade Osborne led the Simpson women's cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the Central Dutch Invitational on Saturday.

Osborne placed ninth in the individual race, navigating the 5km course in 20:44.8.

Annie Hills came in behind Osborne, placing 24th (21:49.2). Courtney Licht placed 31st (22:18.7), Maddy McAreavy took 36th (22:32.2) and Signe Mayland placed 37th (22:38.3). Lindsey Borgomainerio came in 56th (22:49.4) and Shelby King rounded out the top seven in 58th (23:50.5).

Simpson will have three weeks to prepare for its next competition when it travels to Rock Island, Ill. for the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
