Simpson men's tennis battles with Nebraska Wesleyan
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Battling against Nebraska Wesleyan, the Simpson men's tennis fell in straight sets with competitive performances from Grant Love, and Henry Godar.
Love led the charge for the Storm at number one singles, bouncing back after dropping the opening set to force a third-set tiebreak before narrowly falling 6-3, 1-6, 10-6.
In doubles play, Love and Hudson Christie turned in Simpson's most competitive result, battling to a 6-4 finish at the top spot. Darek Kayser and Godar also stayed within striking distance at No. 3 doubles, dropping a 6-3 decision.
