Storm take three singles matches, fall to Buena Vista

STORM LAKE, Iowa - Simpson dropped a tightly contested matchup 4-3 to Buena Vista, highlighted by strong performances in singles play.

Grant Love and Hudson Christie led the way for the Storm at the top of the lineup. Love battled through a competitive opening set to earn a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1, while Christie secured a solid 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 2. Henry Godar added Simpson's third point with the most dramatic match of the day, rallying from a set down to defeat his matchup 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) in a tiebreaker.
