Seven gymnasts achieve academic all-district accolades
INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson College men's and women's gymnastics teams combined for seven College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for the 2024-25 year.
Milo Staley and Kaelyn Tally were recognized for the second year in a row, while Izzy Brown, Brooklen Morgan, Evalyn Resnick, Alex Catchpole, and Brian Rollison all landed on the team for the first time.
The At-Large program includes student-athletes who participate in sports that do not have their own Academic All-America teams (football, men's & women's soccer, volleyball, men's & women's basketball, men's & women's swimming & diving, baseball, softball, men's & women's tennis, men's & women's cross country/track & field).
In order to be considered for the CSC Academic All-District and All-America Teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better with at least one full year at his or her institution. Gymnasts must be ranked top 75 in an event within their division.
