Simpson ranks fourth nationally in 2025 CGA Academic Awards
INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson men's gymnastics program has been recognized among the nation's best in the classroom, earning a No. 4 national ranking in the 2025 College Gymnastics Association (CGA) Academic Awards list.
The Storm posted a 3.5825 team GPA, trailing only Stanford, Illinois, and Springfield in this year's national academic standings.
In addition to the team honor, several Simpson gymnasts were named CGA Academic All-Americans, an award that recognizes individuals with a GPA of 3.5 or higher (First Team) and 3.2-3.499 (Second Team). The Storm had 12 first team honorees and four second team recipients.
The CGA Academic Awards celebrate both team and individual achievements across NCAA men's gymnastics programs. As a group, CGA teams combined for a 3.3998 cumulative GPA in 2025, with every program reaching at least a 3.1 mark.
