Dickson earns player of the week recognition

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After registering a career-high five points in Simpson's 7-0 win over Buena Vista, junior Mitchell Dickson has been tabbed the American Rivers Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Dickson assisted the first two goals of the game, scored the opening goal of the second period, and provided a third assist on the Storm's fourth goal of the night.

Simpson looks to make it back-to-back wins tomorrow night against Nebraska Wesleyan, which is currently 6-6-0 (1-3-0 A-R-C). The Storm (5-6-2, 1-1-1 A-R-C) will then play host to league-leading Loras (6-3-6, 2-0-1 A-R-C) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
