Storm open their spring season in Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE, Iowa – The Storm women traveled to Fort Dodge this weekend to open their spring season. Simpson faced off against Iowa Central in their first match of the season, falling short against the Tritons 6-1.

In singles competition, Gema Gonzalez put up a fight, falling short 6-2, 6-1, scoring the most points in singles competition for the Storm. Hannah Roth picked up a singles victory for the Storm by default.

In doubles competition, the Storm fell 6-0 in both of the matches that they participated in. The Storm's final doubles competition resulted in an Iowa Central win by forfeit.
