Bramlett makes school history at Luther Invite
DECORAH, Iowa - The Simpson swim record books recorded two new top entries as Audrey Bramlett claimed the top spots in the 200 butterfly and 400 IM at the Luther invite.
It seemed like only a matter of when Bramlett would break a school record, and the freshman punched her ticket at top twice. In the 200 butterfly, Bramlett narrowly broke the school record, edging out the top spot by 0.01 of a second. She followed up in the 400 IM, taking eighth overall in the event at 4:54.65 minutes, but broke the school record in the prelims with a time of 4:53.18. Bramlett also finished sixth in the 200 backstroke, placing second fastest in school history.
The 800 free relay team took home 10th overall in the field, posting the ninth best time in program history. Allison Robinson's performance in the 1650 free finished as the fourth fastest time in Storm history.
