Simpson picked fifth in A-R-C Preseason Coaches Poll
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - 2025 will be a fresh new look for the Simpson women's swim team as the Storm were picked fifth in the American Rivers Conference preseason coaches poll on Tuesday.
Simpson will have to replace six all-conference swimmers from last season. Junior swimmer Laura Anthofer provides the Storm with experience in a wide array of events, seeing action last season in the 50 free, backstroke, 100 IM and 200 freestyle relay.
In the polling, Luther led the way, collecting four out of five first place votes. Nebraska Wesleyan finished in second, claiming the final first place vote with Loras, Coe and Simpson rounding out the order.
The three-day American Rivers Conference championships will be held Feb. 19 - 21 in Decorah, Iowa.
