Storm hold firm in first USTFCCCA regional ranking

NEW ORLEANS - After a hot start to the season, including a win at the Bill Buxton Invitational and second place finish at the Les Duke Invite, the Simpson men's cross country team earned a seventh place ranking in the first United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings.

Simpson placed seventh overall in the preseason ranking and held firm on Tuesday. The Storm joined five A-R-C schools in the rankings including top-ranked Wartburg, Loras, Central, and Nebraska Wesleyan. Fresh off two commanding performances, the Storm travel to Pella for the Dutch Open on Friday, Sept. 26 for their next action.
