WAVERLY, Iowa -- Hannah Lester had a team-high eight kills but it wasn't enough as the Simpson volleyball team lost to league-leading Wartburg 3-0 on Tuesday night. Wartburg won by set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.
Morgan Taylor added five kills for the Storm (7-15, 1-5 American Rivers). Lizzy Blough tallied a match-high 13 kills for the Knights (14-9, 6-1).
Alyssa Mathews finished with 22 assists and Ariana Martinez had 22 digs to lead the Storm.
