Storm splits on day one at Elmhurst
ELMHURST, Ill. – The Simpson volleyball team split its two matches on the first day of the Elmhurst Invitational on Friday, defeating Wheaton in the opener, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-19) before dropping game two to Concordia-Chicago, 3-2 (25-23, 17-25, 11-25, 25-18, 15-11).
Statistics were not available for the first day of competition. Saturday, Simpson is scheduled to play Greensboro at noon and host Elmhurst at 2 p.m.
