Women’s tennis nets ITA academic awards

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Simpson College women's tennis team and four of its players have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for their academic performances during the 2023-24 year.

To be recognized as a Scholar-Athlete, players must have at least a 3.50 GPA for the current academic year. This year's individual honorees from Simpson include: Anna Schewe, Bella Tranquilino, Coilee Hynek and Maddie Haskell.

To earn ITA All-Academic honors, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above. Simpson was one of 167 women's tennis programs from Division III to receive the distinction.
