Akes, McMahon, Dillenberg and Petersen named to all-conference teams

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After an improbable run to the Iowa Conference Tournament Championship earlier this month, four Simpson women's soccer players earned All-IIAC honors, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Senior Heather Akes made her fourth-career appearance on an all-conference team, earning first team honors. Joining Akes on the All-IIAC First Team were sophomore Nicole Dillenburg and freshman goalkeeper Megan Petersen. Senior Mollie McMahon landed a second team all-conference selection.
