Cracraft named to D3football.com Team of the Week after third straight multi-touchdown game

INDIANOLA, Iowa – On the heels of his third consecutive multi-touchdown game, freshman Noah Cracraft has earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Cracraft continued his streak of scoring in every game this season – and in every game in his young collegiate career – with a pair of touchdowns in Simpson's 66-14 win over Loras. His first touchdown was for 12 yards, while his second was from 46 yards out as he finished with 13 catches for 178 yards on the day.

A native of West Des Moines, Iowa, Cracraft is the first Simpson football player to land on the national team of the week since safety Brendan Holmes in 2019. His inclusion marks the 28th time a Storm player has earned this honor in the 26-year history of the program.

Averaging an impressive 19.0 yards per reception, Cracraft has quickly established himself as one of the top deep threats in the country. His seven receiving touchdowns on the year are the third most in Division III, while his 475 receiving yards are the fifth most. Four of Cracraft's seven touchdowns have covered more than 35 yards, including a record-breaking 97-yard score that became the longest offensive play in school history in week two.

The Storm are set to challenge Central this Saturday at 1 p.m. in Pella.
