17 named to IIAC Winter all-Academic Team
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Seventeen Simpson student-athletes competing in winter sports earned a spot on the 2014-15 Iowa Conference All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for IIAC All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must compete at the varsity level, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and sustain a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
The women's basketball team led the way with seven selections, followed by men's basketball and women's swimming with four each. One wrestler and one men's swommer made the cut.
