Storm travel to Wartburg Spring Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Storm traveled to Waverly this weekend to compete in the Wartburg Spring Invite. The competition included 16 teams and 100 golfers. The Storm finished in 13th place, ahead of conference opponents Luther and Loras. The Storm came up just two strokes behind Coe College, and 11 stroked behind Wartburg.

Madeline Streicher put up the best performance of the weekend for the Storm, shooting a 167 after both rounds of 18 which landed her 55th place. Right behind Streicher was Addison Brink who shot a 168. Madeline Streicher also recorded the best round of the weekend with her 78 stroke performance on the first day of the Invite. Streicher was the only member of the Storm to shoot in the 70s for the weekend.
