Bio
Cole McDonald enters his second season as an assistant pitching coach for the Storm in 2026.
McDonald played collegiate baseball at the University of Iowa from 2015-19 and was drafted in the 15th round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Houston Astros. He played six seasons in the minors and made it to AAA.
Originally from New Hampton, Iowa, McDonald earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Iowa in 2019.
