Storm post season-opening win at Nebraska Wesleyan

LINCOLN, Neb. — Kayla Cary won two events, Simpson won seven as a team and the Storm beat Nebraska Wesleyan 142-84 in the season opener on Saturday.

Cary won the 100 and 200 butterfly to lead the Storm (1-0, 1-0 Iowa Conference), who won their season-opener for the second year in a row. Cary swam 1:06.04 in the 100 fly and 2:39.21 in the 200 fly to lead the team with two, first-place efforts.

The Storm finished 1-2-3 in the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle in the dominating season-opening performance.
